Begin at the football stadium.
Family and friends filled the stands at McEachern on Friday, May 25, 2012.
The temperatures soared along with the humidity.
Teachers wait their turn to take the field. So hard to see them in hot black but they remained cool.
The stands fill-up with more family and friends.
The graduates begin their march to being a high school graduate.
So hot but didn’t deter from the excitement of the day.
Lollipops and cool shades makes it a little more comfortable.
Blinding pride.
Top of the bleachers. Smart to have an open umbrella
Promises made of the Pledge of Allegiance for this Memorial Day weekend was honored by all.
A friendly wave or maybe the McEachern mascot Indian was reaching out to grab one of the several sun-brellas.
Student graduates who made speeches were very sweet and reflective.
A special moment.
A future graduate.
Smiles, pride and happiness were mandatory for this special day.
Excellent songs were preformed.
Always add some fun to your life.
All in all it was a banner day.
Not to be forgotten these guys and the other first responders who were there to help those who were overcome by heat.
I heard that 12 people needed to be taken care of for heat and dehydration related problems.
Congratulations McEachern High School and other graduates who walked the stage at their schools. Never forget how that walk across the stage felt and keep that feeling with you every day!
